| It's been quite a while since I posted to this site. Almost four years, I think. But one of my Resolutions this year is to read more, and therefore, keeping this blog is one way to keep myself honest on this quest. So, one book each week for 52 weeks. I did read a bit over my Christmas break. I read Life is not a Reality Show by Kyle Richards, and Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. I finished the Real Housewives book tonight, but not sure if I should count it for the goal since I started it last year, technically. |

| So I'm not done with American Band yet, but this one was a really fast, one day court room drama. God knows I need more court room drama in my life eh? But at least the guy who shook the baby to death killed himself, but that was just a subplot. |

| This one brings back memories of my own band days, as well as my son's current band careers. I believe we were just as intense, we just had much easier routines, and none of that "damn drum corps stuff." as Fred would say. |
